GIANTS GO BACK TO BACK WITH WIN OVER YORK | MATCH REPORT

Huddersfield Giants claimed their second win of the season after a 34-14 win over York Knights at the Accu Stadium.
Huddersfield Giants came into this fixture buoyant after a huge win over Wigan Warriors last week, and Adam Swift also made his return to the team after weeks out.
Adam Clune continued his form since returning to the team, stepping a would be York defender to open the scoring early on, with another coming soon after from full-back Niall Evalds.
Some slick play along the line saw a short pass from Powell sent Evalds home for his second in two games since returning to the team, Zenon continuing with the tee and converting both, 12-0.
There was another try as the Giants really put the hammer down, the ball was sent wide out to Lolohea who pulled the centre and winger of Nofoaluma and Williams out and sent in Zenon for his second try in two games, the latter converting, 18-0.
York would get their first score of the half midway through, a kick in-behind from Hingano saw debutant Roberts collect and score, the try scorer missing the conversion.
Nofoaluma then took advantage of some slack edge defence to pull another one back, the wind not in Roberts' favour again and he pulled his conversion attempt wide, 18-8.
Thats how the scores would stand going into the break, the Giants would push their lead further out in front quickly after the teams returned to the field.
Jacob Gagai with some strength and endeavour close to the line and he crashed over to add to his tally, Zenon struggling with the wind to convert, 22-8.
The in-form centre would then score the try of the match, sidestepping two would be York defenders and racing home to touch down, despite the clutches of Nofoaluma, Russell taking over kicking duties and converting, 28-8.
With the time ticking down, the game turned frantic and York through Williams found themselves with a clean break, McShane from dummy-half sending a pass out to Galeano to score a consolation, converted by Roberts, 28-14.
Paul Vaughan got himself all wrapped up in a tackle after the restart and his attempted offload fell straight into the hands of Zac Woolford who raced away for his first try in Super League!
Russell once again converted, and sealed a fantastic two points for the Giants, who move ourselves from the foot of the table!
